This summer Europcar, the car rental brand of Europcar Mobility Group, is going to infinity and beyond with Disney and Pixar to celebrate the UK release of Toy Story 4.
Hitting cinemas on 21st June 2019, the fourth instalment of one of the most beloved sagas in movie history is a must-see for kids and adults alike. Toy Story 4 sees Bonnie take the characters so well-known from the previous films on a family road trip. Woody ends up on an unexpected detour with new toy-on-the-block, Forky. There’s also a reunion with long-lost friend, Bo Peep. Woody and Bo are worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, and they soon realise that’s the least of their worries.
As the only car and van rental brand to collaborate with Disney and Pixar on Toy Story 4, Europcar’s campaign in the UK is designed to increase brand awareness amongst summer travellers.
The campaign kicks off with a Toy Story 4 makeover of the Europcar shuttle buses at London Heathrow. The buses, manufactured by the British company Optare, will be fully wrapped with the Toy Story 4 marketing collateral by vehicle branding specialist, Mediafleet.
The campaign will also include a range of Europcar marketing materials will feature the Toy Story 4 characters and 400,000 Toy Story 4 themed rental wallets – featuring Woody, Bo Peep and Forky – will also be given to drivers across the UK to keep their documents safe. And 400,000 in-vehicle mirror hangers featuring Toy Story 4 characters will be used in the Europcar car fleet throughout the summer.
A dedicated space on the Europcar UK website provides the first port of call for e-commerce customers to see a range of Toy Story 4 offers and special content, including a summer-long give-away with 150 Toy Story 4 talking action figures up for grabs. Kids can also get in on the act with fifty Toy Story 4 talking action figures hidden in Europcar vehicles around the UK. Each lucky person to find a character gets to keep it.
A social media campaign across all of Europcar’s UK channels will also promote Toy Story 4 and accompanying offers. This includes a video trail to appear in rental stations over the summer featuring familiar faces from the film.
