Mediafleet Delivers Vehicle Rebrand Solution Across Wessex Water Fleet

July 17, 2018

Fast-growing fleet livery and branding specialist Mediafleet has won a major deal with Wessex Water that sees it undertake a complete rebranding of the company’s 750-strong light commercial vehicle fleet.

Wessex Water serves 2.8 million customers across the south west of England including Dorset, Somerset, Bristol, most of Wiltshire and parts of Gloucestershire and Hampshire.

The rebrand is initially being introduced on 350 new vans as they join the Wessex Water fleet via a major replacement programme.

Almost 250 vans are already operating with the remainder joining the fleet in the coming weeks.  As Wessex Water replaces other vehicles in the future Mediafleet will undertake this work.

Oxfordshire-based Mediafleet, one of the UK’s leading vehicle livery providers and installers, were recommended to Martin Crocker, Wessex Water’s head of fleet, and won the business after a competitive pricing exercise.

Barnaby Smith, managing director, Mediafleet said “the contract demonstrated Mediafleet’s core proposition to fleets launching new branding and wanting to transform their vehicles into mobile billboards.

Working with Wessex Water’s fleet and brand teams, Mediafleet adapted seven core livery designs highlighting different aspects of the regional water and sewerage business’s work covering over 50 different artwork specifications to take account of the range of vehicles - car-derived vans to panel vans, pick-ups and tippers sourced from seven different manufacturers.

The vehicles have all been partially wrapped in a premium cost material and feature cut graphics and Chapter 8 high visibility safety markings.

Mr Crocker said: “The vehicles are mobile billboards delivering multiple messages about Wessex Water and the services offered. We are delighted with the end result.”

Mr Smith said: “Mediafleet is a company that provides and fits more than just vehicle livery. Companies are becoming very brand centric and Mediafleet has the creative skillsets to provide a design to installation service and project manage the entire rebrand.”

He concluded: “The Wessex Water rebrand is one of the most significant contracts that Mediafleet has won in the last 12 months in terms of its size and complexity.”
