Un‘Wrap’ the Possibilities with Mediafleet

Mediafleet stands out from the crowd yet again as our own fleet of vehicles take to the road, wrapped -
in brown paper
!
Supported by the strapline ‘UnWRAP the Possibilities’, the design is a life size brown paper parcel that appears to be ripped open as to reveal the Mediafleet brand underneath.
A great deal of care was taken in order to create a life like impression of a van wrapped as if actually a brown paper parcel. Top line photography, high quality images and our own creative team all brought their skills together to create an intriguing and memorable vehicle wrap.
Joanna Smith, Mediafleet Senior Designer said: “The complete wrap is made up of a number of different photographs taken of textured brown paper. Numerous colour adjustments and test prints achieved the impression that just one sheet of paper encompasses the entire vehicle.”
Our production team used a matt laminate on the digitally printed brown paper, to achieve the desired ‘brown paper’ look. As the parcel appears to be
ripped open, the matt finished brown paper is in complete contrast to the high gloss finish on the revealed, well known purple and green Mediafleet brand - on this occasion presented against a black background.
“Once happy with the printed paper quality and texture, we added shadows to the rear and string. This was done in order to create a 3D effect before finishing it with graphically aesthetic text to suit the theme” said Miss Smith.
Not only were Mediafleet intent on creating an effective vehicle wrap for the purposes of our own brand awareness and corporate identity – it was important that the overall design demonstrated at least some of what is possible with modern vinyls and print technology.
