PRESS RELEASE

A New Look for E.ON’s Sales Fleet

Once again, E.ON – one of the UK’s largest energy providers – have appointed Mediafleet, the Oxfordshire based vehicle branding specialists, to deliver branding solutions for their ever-growing vehicle fleet.

This particular project concerns the delivery of an initial sales fleet of 370 Ford Fiestas – each to be a clone of the other in the distinctive E.ON orange with large white E.ON identity over and emergency chevrons at the rear.

A mix of vehicles make up this initial fleet, brand new vehicles from Ford in ex-factory white, brand new vehicles from Ford in ex-factory red and around 150 existing Ford Fiestas in factory finish white (previously branded Powergen). This range of specifications form the raw material to complete Mediafleet’s brief.

Mediafleet have now successfully wrapped and branded the first wave of 142 vehicles, which were delivered to five different premier division football grounds around the country, over a period of just five days, endorsing E.ON’s sponsorship ties with the FA Cup, where they were presented to the company’s new sales force.

All vehicle branding work, full vinyl wraps, removal of existing Powergen branding where necessary, application of E.ON identity and emergency chevrons was undertaken entirely by Mediafleet at its main production facility in Witney, Oxfordshire.

Barnaby Smith, Sales Director and E.ON account manager, said: “As part of Mediafleet’s ability to provide one stop fleet solutions, used vehicles are not only being re-wrapped, they are also having comprehensive mechanical checks and a full valeting service before returning to the fleet. Therefore all vehicles involved in the project, whether brand new or used, not only meet E.ON’s livery criteria, but from a visual point of view, look like brand new vehicles”.

Two more deliveries of cars are due to be made, fully wrapped and branded, with another 220 being deliverd over the next eight weeks to complete the project.

Mr Smith, continued: “The entire program is delivered via a 100% vinyl solution - as a result, at the end of the lease term vehicles are stripped of the vinyl and returned to the leasing company in the original paint colour, in a near new condition, releasing the financial benefits to both the lease company and to E.ON.”
